The Cayman Institute Director-General of The Cayman Institute. Nicholas Robson has a rich background in the non-governmental (NGO) sector. He received his MA in Peace Studies from the University of Bradford. Nick has consulted for the British Red Cross in Disaster Management and is the founder of the Cayman Institute, a think tank doing policy research in areas such as global warming and climate change, energy security and economic sustainability for small island states. Nick also has a background in security and law enforcement. His geographical areas of interest are Central and South Asia and the Middle East as well as Small Island Developing States. He is also the Chief Coordinator of the South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI) based in London whose aims are to make a leading contribution to regional and international academic and policy-orientated research discourses about South Asian security. After a two day conference attended by approximately two hundred believers in UAP disclosure I can only say that this event by the SOL Foundation was, in my opinion, the MOST IMPORTANT conference held on this planet.

Led by Dr. Garry Nolan, Professor in the Department of Pathology at Stanford University School of Medicine and sociocultural anthropologist Dr. Peter Skafish, Sol Foundation is assembling teams of world-class academics and government experts – including former Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (IC IG) I. Charles McCullough Ill serving as legal counsel – to conduct research and provide policy expertise around UAP, as well as help set the agenda for the wider study of UAP.

As the.revelation of the reality of UAP is likely to be world-changing in every sense of the term, Sol Foundation s mission is to be a leading source of research on the issue, while providing the most informed and insightful policy recommendations to governments. The Foundation will encourage greater government transparency, drive collaborative sharing and review of academic insight, and champion methodical, scientifically-robust assessment and analysis.

This week the OECD has a once-in-a-decade chance to stop funding oil and gas — it’s time to step up

07 November 2023 — This week, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is meeting in Paris for its annual forum. On the negotiating table is a once-in-a-decade opportunity to end the flow of public money into fossil fuels, but you’d be forgiven for not knowing about it.

The OECD is made up of a group of primarily wealthy countries, who collectively set their own standards around big global issues like tax, trade and the environment. Despite being one of the world’s most influential trade bodies, decisions at the OECD often happen behind closed doors. Members say that this allows them to get on with ‘building better policies for better lives‘ without distraction. The problem is that channelling billions of dollars of public money into fossil fuels each year doesn’t square with that aim.
