About the Website

The One UN Caribbean website will serve as a hub for communication on development issues and initiatives in the English and Dutch speaking Caribbean relating to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the soon to be implemented United Nations Multi-Country Sustainable Development Framework

Meet the Speakers:

Khadija Sinanan

Khadija is an Attorney-at-Law. Born and raised in the village of Balandra in Trinidad, Khadija pursued her legal education at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine (Trinidad and Tobago) & Cave Hill (Barbados) campuses and later at the Hugh Wooding Law School. Khadija was the recipient of a National Scholarship (Languages) in 2008.

While studying at Cave Hill, Khadija was exposed to gender studies and feminist legal theory, through the Gender and the Law course…
