🇺🇳 🚨Former Dutch Defence Minister: The UN Can End the Siege of Gaza — Even with a US Veto ‼️‼️‼️

Joris Voorhoeve, former Minister of Defence and professor of international relations, says the world already has the legal pathway to act — if it dares to use it.

🔹 Step 1 – The UN Security Council proposes placing Gaza under UN authority. The US vetoes.

🔹 Step 2 – The UN General Assembly invokes the Uniting for Peace Resolution (1950 precedent in Korea), bypassing the veto with a two-thirds majority.

🔹 Step 3 – UN member states begin delivering food and medicine via Egypt and Gaza’s coast — even if blocked.

🔹 Step 4 – If Israel resists, the confrontation could trigger political change inside Israel.

📜 What the UN “Uniting for Peace” Resolution Says — in Plain Language:

🚨If the Security Council fails to act because a permanent member uses its veto, the General Assembly can take over.

🚨It can recommend collective measures — including, if necessary, the use of armed force — to stop aggression or restore peace.

🚨This mechanism has been used before (Korea, 1950) to bypass a veto. It can be used today for Gaza.

HOW WE PUSH THIS FORWARD

2️⃣ Contact your MPs and MEPs — demand they raise this in parliament and at the UN.
3️⃣ Urge Global South nations to table the resolution.
4️⃣ Call on humanitarian and legal NGOs to back the Uniting for Peace route.

This is not theory. It’s international law. The question is: Do UN member states have the courage to act? To be serious I am afraid not where are the #Sanctions the #Embargo

As I see it, this is the way for the nations of the world to break the vicious circle which threatens the continued existence of mankind, as no other situation in human history has ever done.

We are caught in a situation in which every citizen of every country, his children, and his life’s work, are threatened by the terrible insecurity which reigns in our world today.

The progress of technological development has not increased the stability and the welfare of humanity.

Because of our inability to solve the problem of international organization, it has actually contributed to the dangers which threaten peace and the very existence of mankind.

I Am Confused

I am confused and need Enlightening – Help me Understand…

German (European) Jews are marked for Death by the German Government prior to and during World War Two.

The German Jaws are rounded up and put into Concentration Camps by the German government, wherein some are used as slave labour, given insufficient food with many being worked to death and and the majority are killed in gas chambers and the corpses are incinerated.

Eventually World War Two ends and the surviving German Jewish survivors are released and attempt to emigrate to Palestine, where at one point in history their ancestors made up ten percent of Palestine’s population.

Palestine was then under a League of Nations Mandate being governed by the Colonial British.

Under Colonial British skullduggery and with the help of Christian Zionism and the Balfour Declaration Jews were let in to Palestine over the objection of the Palestinian peoples, who had no say in the matter.

Fast forward to 1948 when the United Nations mandated the formation of the State of Israel. The newly formed Jewish army starts to carry out executions of Palestinians, exterminating and destroying entire villages and driving seven hundred and fifty thousand Palestinian citizens into exile.

Please explain to me how the Palestinians were blamed for the suffering of the Jewish People.
